WHY PARENTS OR TEACHERS
SHOULD READ THIS BOOK SERIES
TO THEIR KIDS
"The Exploring Twins" book series helps teachers and parents encourage kindergarten and elementary school-aged kids (4-11 years old) to enjoy and experience science by presenting it in a “story-like” way.
It is not just a story to tell it is also a “recipe” to follow, for hands-on experiences.
It makes science accessible and fun, not just at a museum but at home and in the classroom as well.
The stories show kids that science is all around us, even in the most common actions in our day-to-day lives. It is what makes us and everything in our lives work!
The series demonstrates to young girls that nothing is “just for boys”. Science is for everyone to explore and boys and girls alike can enjoy it.
Yair and Michal Leshem are husband and wife who live in New Jersey with their four curious boys.
Michal is the founder and head of Acton Academy of Bergen County, a progressive-education, non-profit school, and Yair works as an executive in the tech world.
Yair and Michal see the education of young boys and girls in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) as their passion and mission.
